Bringing myths to life
Ever wondered how the creatures of MythicalMyths are born? Step into our enchanted workshop and discover the journey from a spark of an idea to a fully realised being of myth and magic.

Orkbunat Sketch
I started thinking of feline facial features and then imagined flying caterpillars. Then I imagined a bunny and an orchid mantis, I topped this all off with alien patterns and colours. Once I had completed my sketch, I put it into AI to make it look like it was in real life.

Cinderclaw Sketch
I started off by thinking of some kind of fire basilisk, then when I put it into AI it made it into something even better - a firey stegosaurus bearded dragon type creature.

Soulhound Sketch
I started off by thinking of a canine powered by souls - this gave me the name for soul hound. To make it more cursed looking I gave it soul blue eyes and a blue coat - I even put ribcages on its back as well as horns. I then made it realistic using AI.

Fae Fern Sketch
I started off by thinking of a fox creature, I thought of the pokemon leafeon, I then thought of giving this foxy creature a grass tail with flowers on it and some stick antlers. Using AI it turned it into exactly what I wanted, I was glad AI noticed it was supposed to be a fox.

Aqua Bird Sketch
I started off thinking of what would be the opposite of a phoenix - I almost made it an ice bird but I couldn't think of how to make an icy bird so I made it into a water bird. When I used AI it gave it the texture I wanted and had it standing on the water too.

Blazepaca Sketch
I started off thinking of a blaze goat, but it started looking like an alpaca so I decided to make the alpaca! I almost made a fire lion but it didn't work out. I took inspiration from the pal Pyrin from palworld and ended up making a fire alpaca and calling it blazepaca, using AI made it look like a real blazing alpaca.

Emelchus Sketch
I started off by making a thunder dragon but i thought it was be too normal. And then I thought of this two headed opposite elemental beast. The inspiration for the name was the word Element, with one head being ice and the other fire I felt an element name would be best. With AI it made it into a real 2 headed beast.

Azure Toad Sketch
I started off by thinking of a thunder toad but couldn't make it work. so i took inspiration from the Pokemon Froakie and make this water frog. I nearly called it drop back toad, but then i decided to call it azure toad. I used AI to make it look real. After a little while I realised it just looked like a regular poison dart from so i changed it by adding spikes, green veins and even fangs! Now it look much more mythical.

Frost Tallon Sketch
I started off thinking of a fire owl but thought that would be too similar to a phoenix, so i decided to make it an ice owl. I was able to make it look more icy using AI.

Boulderbark Sketch
I started off by trying to create some sort of turtle but I could only think of a nature turtle - so that's what I made and it ended up looking great! Using AI made it realistic and more mossy.

Fungal Hare Sketch
I started off by thinking of some sort of rabbit creature and all i could think of was making it into a fungus rabbit - so i did that and the sketch ended up looking really cute! Using AI I made it into a real fungal hare. It reminds me of the real fungal parasite that can affect insects, so i pit that into the lore!

Scornius Sketch
I started off by thinking of a scorpion cat, but then i thought of how cool it would be to make a scorpion bird with three legs, two scorpion tails, four wings and even some scales! Using AI i made it into a real mysterious god like bird.

Gorgle sketch
I started thinking of some kind of snake with legs and it ended up looking like some sort of gecko. I added spines and even dog feet! I had the change the position of the body because AI made the back legs in the air, so I changed that and it worked out well!

NightBeak sketch
I started off by thinking of nothing then all of a sudden i thought of an omascul from palworld and those birds from the game herdling. I put the two images in my head and ended up sketching this. I even gave a scar to its eye for detail and glowing eyes inspired by omascul but instead of yellow they are a radioactive pink. I recently discovered there are more tools on the sketchbook app that i use, and i found the perfect feather texturing tool. I nearly called this scarwing but i realised this is the name of an enemies from the game Hollow knight: silksong, so I ended up calling it NightBeak. I used AI to make it realistic. I don't like the AI image, but the sketch is great!

Gicel sketch
Started off thinking of a creature with dragon wings, then i thought of making some sort of Pegasus creature, i though a stag would make a great body. I took inspiration from both the legendary pal, Frostallion, from Palworld, and the boss, pale stag, from Hollow Knight: Silksong. Fun fact - Gicel is the old engligh word for icicle, and i thought that name suited this creature well. Using AI I made it realistic.

Viperin sketch
I started off thinking of a breed of duck known as the call duck, and then gave it snake like eyes and a mane, a lions tail and even snakes for legs! I thought that the idea of the snakes as legs and it walking by the snakes opening and closing their mouths was a really cool idea. The snake legs were inspired by how a Chimera has a snake as a tail. I used AI to bring this creature to life.

Toxin Tail Sketch
I realised I had not made any fish creatures, so that's what I'm doing! I used a puffer fish as inspiration, and decided to make it a poison puffer fish, even though puffer fish are poisonous. I gave it spines to make it look more mythical and gave it a different shade of purple around with dark teal makings on its eyes and a long tail which was inspired my seaweed...and why not add some fins!I then put it in to AI to make it realistic.

Hydrolym sketch
As i was making toxin tail, i thought of this creature, so i made it right after, The inspiration for this creature was the pal Jormuntide from Palworld. I gave it no limbs, horns, glowing eyes and spines all down its back. This looks so cool! I put it into AI to make it even more cool and it looked great!

Polytheus sketch
I also thought of this one while making toxin tail! I started off by drawing an orca, then adding coral and then ended up adding barnacles. I discovered a paint brush that would be perfect for the barnacles - it worked great. I then put it into AI to make it more vibrant and realistic.

Botanica
I started off by thinking of some sort of nature bird, i took inspiration from a pokemon that I can't remember. I gave it a leaf mask and tail as well as a twig collar to make it look pretty cool! I used AI to make it realistic and then it looked even more cool.

Electrosaurus sketch
I tried my best not to make a thunder dragon, so I ended up making a thunder dinosaur. I gave this drawing highlights for the first time making the shell look shiny! I then put into AI to make it more shockingly realistic! I like its metallic shell the best.

Eclipso sketch
I was drawing Smokey from Palworld, and as I was I thought of this creature. I gave it a black body, a bushy tail and a little tuft of grey fur. I then decided to use AI to give it extra details like two tails and white paws. I found it hard to make AI understand and create a canine like creature the one from my sketch, but I think it ended up looking ok. I much prefer the sketch I did compared to what AI produced.

Noxy sketch
I used an animal generating site where you can pick a random animal for the base etc. It asked me to draw a Shih Tzu for the body, and for the rest there was a mix of yak, jackal, slow loris, royal gramma, hare and a Scarlett macaw. AI did exactly what I wanted, it was so cute that I wished I could have it as a real pet - I would call it Kiwi!
